Final Project Blog Post

1. Making the questions was tricky because it was hard to not be repetitive.
2. My questions were different than my group because mine focused on what the basic stuff you like in a shoe.
3. The demographic question showed that people care how much the shoe costs and they were whiling to have not as good of a shoe to take the price down.
4. My results showed that the brand really mattered to people. People were very specific to what type of shoe they wear and it was primarily Nike or Under Armour.
5. 15 responses.

6. I like this idea a lot.

Arena Product Advantage

1. This Case Study was about the average intake a stadium takes in and the amount of people that attend the arena in a year. The total amount of people in a year affect how much money a team or organization will make because it affects the sale growth. If not many people go to an event not as much things will be sold. If a lot of people attend the event they will make more of a profit.

  • 2. Chapter 4 Sports Products. The people who attend the event for any reason are known as sports consumers.
  •  At the arena or stadium sports products are sold to the fans of the event.
  •  The people who advertise for the arena use market segmentation to enforce what the people want.
  • Tangible products can be purchased at stadiums to increase the profit.
  •  If someone wants to take a lesson or train that is an intangible product that can be sold.
3. I want to learn about the executive moves a CEO or owner of a team has to make and how it affects the team. I want to know how contracts work for players and coaches on a team and all of that.

Boston Olympic Bid

Jack Driscoll
I am happy that the Olympics will not be hosted in Boston. There is a threat of foreigners who want to attack this country. Also there wouldn’t be enough space for all the people to stay while they are here. Also there is a lack of stadiums and not much space to put the new stadiums. That is why I am happy about Boston not hosting the Olympics.
